Body Butter

Our body butter is non-GMO, gluten free, contains no chemicals, contains no petroleum derivatives, and does not have artificial fragrances.   It is full of unrefined organic shea butter, organic coconut oil, organic almond oil, and organic pomegranate seed oil.  They uses only essential oils for scent.

Our body butters are formulated to soften, heal, and protect your skin naturally.  They are a go-to skin treatment for all parts of your body! Use our organic body butter on dry or cracked skin. It works equally well as a moisturizer in winter or a moisturizer for sun-damaged skin in the summer.  It may also be used as a hydrating and skin-softening mask.

Sanatio Body Butter’s primary ingredient is Shea butter.  Shea butter contains Vitamins A and E as well as essential fatty acids and other vitamins and minerals. It is an intense moisturizer for rough skin making it even more effective than the body oil for this purpose.  Because of its unrefined state, the shea butter will have a subtle thick and nutty scent.

Almond oil has many benefits including keeping your skin looking great!  It is a mild, hypoallergenic oil making it safe for sensitive skin, including baby skin.  Almond oil has a light texture and easily absorbs into skin. Its Vitamin A content can provide some protection to prevent future acne.

Coconut oil contains three fatty acids —capric, caprylic and lauric acid — that possess both disinfectant and antimicrobial properties, which help protect against microbial infections.  The fatty acids reduce external inflammation and moisturize, making it effective for all types of skin conditions.  It also works well as a face cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen.  Research shows that virgin coconut oil improves the symptoms of skin disorders by moisturizing and soothing the skin.

Only a small amount of Pomegranate Seed oil is necessary in our body butter since it is so powerful.  It can help protect the skin from sun damage.  The antioxidants found in Pomegranate Seed oil can help slow the wrinkle formation process.  It has moisturizing qualities which work for both oily and dry skin.  It doesn’t clog pores or have a greasy feel on the skin; it penetrates deeply for lasting hydration.

Note: In warmer parts of the United States, our whipped body may melt during shipping or if stored in a hot location. When returned to more normal room temperatures, it will solidify but will be firmer than its original whipped consistency. Despite being firmer, It will still retain all of its original properties.
